The full-length feature film "Azor", filmed in Mordovia by enthusiasts Victor Chichaykin and Alexander Uchevatkin, was ready a year ago. In autumn of 2017, the creators organized a test show, inviting connoisseurs of ethnography, ancient traditions and people interested in the theme of the history of the Erzyan people. With her son being held captive by a criminal gang, police-officer Amanda Doyle, together with her ex-husband and three unlikely allies, takes part in a desperate plot to hold a wealthy banker and his family to ransom. But this is no ordinary family Summer 1989, East Germany. Adam works as a tailor, Evelyn as a waitress. They are planning a vacation together when Evelyn finds out that Adam is cheating on her and decides to leave for the holiday on her own. She travels to Hungary, trailed by Adam. As the border with Austria falls, everything changes in Hungary.
